THE
TRUTH
ABOUT SALES
MY 24 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE HAS TAUGHT ME ONE SUREFIRE TRUTH:
The Magic Formula is something I created many years ago, when I realized that not all trainers are created equal. In fact, most sales trainings within corporations cannot individualize a single salespersons needs. So I wanted to make sure I had control of my career trajectory. I have taught this to all my teams throughout the years and I think it is one of the biggest contributors to my success.
Professionalism is not built on the winding road of emotions that comes with life. It is created with a sturdy foundation of processes, knowledge and training. It is that foundation that will carry you through the hard times. Confidence comes from preparation and consistency and knowing that you can adapt to any situation, any objection and any personal stumbling block that your subconscious puts in your way. The secret is being honest with yourself! We are human and we cannot allow our critical parent mind to take over and pummel us into a cloud of doubt. Own it. Manage it. And on those days, fall back on that foundation so you never have an unproductive day.
That is my belief and why the Magic Formula works. I created a three part series to explain how to create your own magic formula. If you’d like to see all three videos, click the link below.
THE LAND
OF MILK &
HONEY
I think the reason I have always been so successful at sales is I was trained at an early age to ALWAYS BE CLOSING. When you have a father with a violent temper from PTSD, you evolve a natural talent with words. So I learned how to direct conversations towards the conclusion that ensured I wasn’t going to catch a beating. I became an expert at body language and facial expressions and I can head off a problem before it ever manifests into a negative outcome. It’s part of my DNA. Of course, it can also make you co-dependent. We all have our demons. Making this film was a very personal story of my childhood and one of the greatest experiences of my life. And I hope it will be part of a broader conversation, that PTSD doesn’t just effect our veterans, it effects their families and is passed down through learned behavior for generations.
I LEARNED THAT MY SALES AND MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE TRANSLATES TO ALL AREAS OF BUSINESS.

REVENUE STREAMS MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE
I have always enjoyed training and motivating people. In high school, I was captain of my football, basketball and baseball teams. In the marines, I was a squad leader. In business I have always been a trainer and a manager. I love helping people reach their goals and take calculated risks.
I have, also, always loved filmmaking. So, when I was raising money for this film, I came up with the idea to show a behind the scenes “making-of,” only in the format of an online class. This concept brings two of my most treasured things together. I get to create something about film that helps teach, train and motivate others on how to make a film on a low budget.
Besides, in business, I have learned that you need multiple revenue streams to be successful. NEVER put all your eggs in one basket! Coming up with multiple ways to make money from the same investment is something I strive for in each project. Lowering the risk and raising the reward is all about being creative, planning ahead and taking the time to connect the dots. Besides, it allowed my investors two shots at the apple for the same investment.

THE SECRET TO GETTING A JOB AS AN ACTOR IN THE FILM INDUSTRY
Every industry has secrets. You have to be part of it to really know how to navigate it. When I met Jonna, she had her own “magic formula” within the industry only she didn’t call it that. It was just her way of doing it. And I started realizing that everyone has their own “magic formula.” Jonna’s career started when she was a teenager on Nickelodeon and has spanned 30 years. I immediately saw an opportunity to teach this idea to young actors looking to make it in film and television. Her perspective was something I had never heard before. So we created a two hour course and I wrote a 70 page e-book to go along with it with exercises and information to help them.
Here is a promo we did. If you’d like to see the course, please click on the button below. If you have any questions about it, please CONTACT me and I’ll be happy to get back with you.
